MORGAN - Linus Tauer, 72, of rural Morgan, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at his home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Morgan with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 12, from 4 until 7 p.m., with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m., at Nelson-Martin Funeral Home in Morgan will continue at the church on Tuesday for one hour prior to services.
Linus N. Tauer, the son of Sylvester and Mary (Zins) Tauer, was born Dec. 6, 1939, in Morgan Township, Redwood County.
He is survived by his sons, Daniel Tauer of Morgan, Michael Tauer of Becker, and Dr. Thomas Tauer of Effort, Pa., eight grandchildren; brothers Eugene and Jerome Tauer, both of Morgan.
