BLHS voters ok two school referendums
HECTOR - Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart School District 2159 voters approved two levy referendum questions Tuesday.
Question No. 1 proposed to renew for 10 years a referendum revenue authorization of $776.65 per pupil and was set to expire in 2014. It was approved by a vote of 1,534 (76.32 percent) to 476 (23.68 percent).
Question No. 2 proposed to increase referendum authorization by an additional $225 per pupil for 10 years,. It was approved by a vote of 1,106 (55.38 percent) to 891 (44.62 percent).
