BUFFALO LAKE - A 28-year-old New Ulm man died after falling about 60 feet while working on a grain elevator accident reported at 10:48 a.m. Saturday morning.
Buffalo Lake Fire/Rescue and Ambulance attempted to resuscitate Andrew R. Burnett, but he died from his injuries, according to a Renville County Sheriff's Office news release.
Buffalo Lake Police, the Renville County Sheriff's Office and a Life Link III helicopter responded to the mishap.
Burnett was working as a contractor on an elevator expansion project at the time of the accident. Buffalo Lake Police, the Renville Sheriff's Ofice and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating the accident.
