NEW ULM - The Brown County Planning Commission discussed a business condominium proposal from a New Ulm man Tuesday.

Terry Petersen presented commissioners a drawing of five 30x80-foot and five 30 x56-foot business condominiums he is thinking about building just south of New Ulm, along Brown County Road 25.

"A realtor gave me the idea," Petersen said. "He gave me the names of six other people plus himself, who may be interested in buying into it."

Commissioner Loren Renberg said he thought all commissioners were in favor of the proposal.

"I'd like to see (residential) condos for people too. I think there is a need for them," Renberg added.

Commissioners unanimously approved:

A three-year Conditional Use Permit (CUP) of Orlin Mack and Rich Walters renewing an existing CUP for continued use of a gravel extraction & processing operation including crushing and screening in Milford Township.
