KEYC-TV is adding a news program to its weekday lineup. Beginning today, the CBS affiliate will broadcast a local news program at 5 p.m.
News 12 at 5 p.m. will have a variety of local and national news, as well as health and entertainment stories. It will also have well-established features from MoneyTalks, Bloomberg News and local favorite Mr. Food. The newscast will be anchored and produced by Nicole Winters.
KEYC-TV is a CBS affiliate serving southern Minnesota and northern Iowa. In July of 2007, the station launched a second station, FOX Mankato. That station's website, www.keyc.tv, has twice been honored by the Minnesota Associated Press with the "Best Website" award for a small market television station. KEYC-TV has also expanded its mobile presence with apps for the iPad, iPhone, and Google Android platforms.
