PREP VOLLEYBALL ROUNDUP: Rabbits, Raiders and Tigers earn conference victories

Wabasso 3, CM/C 0

MORGAN-The Wabasso Rabbits downed Cedar Mountain/Comfrey 25-8, 25-18, 25-21 Tuesday night in Tomahawk Conference volleyball action.

Morgan Frank led the Rabbits with 14-for-14 serving, three aces and three kills. Desi Kramer was 9-for-10 serving with one ace and eight kills. Chelsey Guetter had 10 kills with 7-for-9 serving.

Wabasso (12-4) will host Sleepy Eye St. Mary's Thursday night in a conference match.

Nicollet 3, Madelia 0

NICOLLET - The Nicollet Raiders defeated Madelia 28-26, 25-19, 25-11 Tuesday night in Valley Conference action.

Carissa Woller had 13 kills for the Raiders. Courtney Struss had 29 digs and was 11-for-11 serving, Katelyn Skrien had 16 digs and was 12-for-14 serving with two aces and Sara Meurer was 12-for-13 serving with two aces and had 22 set assists.

The Raiders (3-11 overall, 3-3 conference) will host St. Clair Thursday night.

Springfield 3, GFW 1

FAIRFAX - The Springfield Tigers defeated Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop 25-23, 25-22, 30-32 , 25-11 in Tomahawk Conference action Tuesday night.

Morgan Wenninger led the Thunderbirds with 15 kills and 13 set assists and was 14-for-14 serving with two aces. Sydney Fromm had 23 set assists and 12 digs. Eve Bleick had 17 digs, was 17-for-17 serving and had two aces.

Tiffany Schwanke was 19-for-19 serving for Springfield and had 15 kills and 35 digs. Morgan Hansen had 23 kills and 23 digs. Shelby Schultz was 9-for-9 serving with three aces.

The Thunderbirds (14-6, 5-1) will play Minnesota Valley Lutheran Thursday night in Winthrop. Springfield (13-3, 7-0) travels to Nicollet to play in the Nicollet Tournament on Saturday.
