The funeral service for Jane Fiemeyer of Wadena was held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 10, at the Wadena-Deer Creek Public School Elementary Gymnasium, with Pastor Nate Loer, Christie Meier, Pastor Vaughn White, and Father Don Wagner presiding.

Surrounded by her loving family, Jane passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012, at the tender age of 8 years, at her home in Wadena, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jane Evelyn Fiemeyer was born on September 27, 2003 to David Fiemeyer and Jilene (Lorentz) Fiemeyer in Mankato, MN. She attended Wadena-Deer Creek Elementary School and enjoyed learning and playing with her friends and classmates. She loved school, horses, practical jokes, tennis, creating duct tape wallets, and raising awareness for Childhood Cancer Research. Jane was also a member of the local Brownie Troop #967.

She is survived by her devoted parents Jil Fiemeyer of Wadena and David "George" Fiemeyer of Staples; younger sisters, KatieRae and Anna both of Wadena; grandparents, Dan and Pat Lorentz of Wadena and Marvin and Kathy Fiemeyer of Pine River; great-grandmother, Dorothy Neuerburg of Wadena; aunts and uncles, Darin "Diggy" & Carla Lorentz, Missy Lorentz, Julie & John Cook, Lee "Ivan" Lorentz, Myron & Joan Fiemeyer, Mark Fiemeyer, Dawn Fiemeyer, and Craig & Gretchen Fiemeyer; cousins, Kaylee Ova, Drew Lorentz, Arynn Lorentz, Ryan Cook, Danielle Lorentz, Michael Fiemeyer, Angela Emmeck, Brent Fiemeyer and Abby Fiemeyer; along with a host of caring friends.

Honorary pallbearers were Madison Packer, TJ Jasicki, Carson Kern, Kaylee Ova, Grace Gallant, Grace VanErp, Anna Church, Abby Fiemeyer and WDC third graders. Serving as pallbearers were Laura Kiser, Vicky Smith, Missy Lorentz, Dawn Fiemeyer, Cole Lugert, and Carla Lorentz.

Burial was in Wadena Cemetery.

Arrangements were with the Johnson-Schuller Funeral Home in Wadena. (www.SchullerFamilyFH.
