Howard Rosnau

WINTHROP - Howard Rosnau, 90, of Winthrop, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Winthrop, with burial in the Winthrop Cemetery.

Visitation is one hour before the service at the church.

Arrangements by the Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Winthrop. Military Honors by the Winthrop Honor Guard.

Howard Julius Rosnau was born on Dec. 15, 1921, in Bismarck Township, Sibley County, Minn., to William and Ella (King) Rosnau.

He served in the United States Army for four years in Germany and France during World War II.

He is survived by son, Gary Rosnau of Winthrop; daughters, Diane Miller of Fairmont, and Peggy Rosnau of Prior Lake; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, Adeline Laabs of Winthrop, and Clarrice Rosnau of Winthrop.
