NEW PRAGUE - The New Ulm girls' soccer team suffered its first loss of the season, failing to gain much momentum on offense in a 1-0 loss to New Prague.

The lone goal of the game came midway through the first half, when the Trojans scored from a corner kick.

New Ulm goalkeeper Shelby Smith kept the Eagles in the game throughout, registering 13 saves. However, New Ulm managed only six shots of its own.

The Eagles (3-1) will next return to action when they host Fairmont at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
