To the editor:
Last week my husband and I visited the Brown County Museum and toured the Dakota Conflict exhibit. I thought it was great. I came away with a new respect and reverence for the settlers and the Dakota.
The one item I enjoyed the most was the film information computer where you could type in a name and their info and picture came on the screen. You could take pictures of this info as well. I typed my great grandfather's name in - Christian Schlumpberger and Crescentia Matsch - and their short history came up.
I also enjoyed the research center. The people were so helpful and friendly. It was a good visit to my beautiful home town.
