Timothy Paul "Tex" Bass, 43, passed away on July 6 at his home in North Mankato, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was laid to rest at Woodland Hills Cemetery, Mankato.
Tim had been living in Orange, Texas, this past year, when he recently was diagnosed with lung, brain and bone cancer. Tim came back to Minnesota to spend his remaining days with his three children, Justin, Madison and Josiah Bass, whom he loved more than life itself.
Tim was born in Texas on April 11, 1969. Tim lived in many places growing up and as a young adult made his home in Minnesota. During his time in Minnesota, he had his three children, Justin, Madison and Josiah Bass. Tim also has a very special uncle that meant the world to him who lives in Orange, Texas, Uncle Paul Ross.

Tim is survived by his three children, Justin Bass and Madison and Josiah Bass; his mother Kitty Hoosier; sisters, Rachel Rios, Stacey Bass, Tina Bass, all living in Minnesota; and his Uncle Paul Ross from Orange, Texas.
Tim enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, camping and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed his pet snakes and loved eagles. Tim made friends wherever he went and was a very loyal and loved friend to many. He had a "never give up" attitude and had a lot of pride that many of us will remember. He will be forever missed by the many hearts that he touched during his days with us.
There will be a benefit for his children and a celebration of his life on Sept. 15 at the Courtland Rec Center in Courtland.
