Richard J. "Blackie" Mielke, 73 of Minneapolis, formerly of New Ulm, MN passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis, surrounded by his family. Survived by mother, Marcella of New Ulm; brother, Leonard Jr. of Oak Grove, MN; sisters, Carol Haycraft of Luverne, MN, Jan (Dick) Ginn of New Ulm, and Ruth (Dick) Koppen of Sioux Falls, SD; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by father, Leonard Sr.; brother-in-law, Richard Haycraft.
Funeral service Saturday, Aug. 25, 4 pm at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 4343 Nicollet Ave. South, Minneapolis. Visitation one hour before service.
