NEW?ULM - Patti Gramentz announced Thursday that she will not seek re-election to the District 88 School Board.
In a letter to The Journal, Gramentz cited priorities to being with her family as the reason for her decision. She is completing her first term on the board.
Four positions are open for the District 88 Board in November. Matt Ringhofer and Sharon Gieseke have filed as candidates. Filings end Tuesday, Aug. 14.
Carol Ackerson and Susan Nierengarten also indicated that they will not seek re-election. Patricia Hoffman has not yet indicated if she will seek re-election.
