FAIRFAX - Myra Wills, 85, of Fairfax, died Sunday, August 5, 2012 at her home.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 9, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Fairfax with Pastor Vicki Touges officiating. Burial will follow in the Fort Ridgely Cemetery in rural Fairfax.
Visitation will be 9 - 11 a.m., Thursday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Fairfax.
The Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon is handling the arrangements.

Myra is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Larry Serbus of Willmar, Cindy Fahey of Fairfax, Vicky and David Firle of Fairfax; sons and daughters-in-law, Avery and Linda Wills of New Ulm, Galen and Connie Wills of Arlington, Byron and Theresa Wills of Winthrop; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eberhardt "Ebbie" Wills on September 1, 1992; a sister, Ellen Husfeldt; and by her brother, Delmer Buerkle.
Myra Elaine Buerkle was born June 23, 1927 in New Ulm to Albert and Ida (Lickfett) Buerkle; She was united in marriage to Eberhardt Wills on July 12, 1945 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon. After marriage they lived in Stewart and then Gibbon where she was a homemaker. In 1963 they moved to Fairfax where she was employed as a waitress at various cafes in the Fairfax area. She enjoyed searchword puzzles, reading and playing cards and visiting with her neighbors. Myra was a member of the Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Fairfax.
