Humane Society offers cat-kitten special

August 7, 2012
The Journal

NEW ULM - The Brown County Humane Society has an abundance of cats and kittens and needs to find homes for about 20 animals as soon as possible.

The Humane Society is offering a cat/kitten special through August or while the oversupply lasts. Although the regular adoption price is $75, during the special individuals can adopt the first cat or kitten for $25. The fee to adopt a second cat or kitten is $10.

For kittens that have not been spayed or neutered, there is an additional $50 per kitten voucher that must be paid; however, that fee is refunded upon proof that the kitten has been spayed or neutered. Appropriate sales taxes apply to all adoptions and vouchers.

The Brown County Humane Society is located at 1301 S. Valley in New Ulm. There is usually someone available from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. For more information or to arrange an appointment, call 507-359-2312.
