WINTHROP - Duane J. Haines, 76, of Winthrop, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, at the Sibley County Medical Center, Arlington.
Memorial service will be 3 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 7, at the Peace Lutheran Church, Winthrop, Minnesota. Burial will be in the Winthrop Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Monday, Aug. 6, at the Peace Lutheran Church, Winthrop; and continue one hour before the service at church.
Duane John Haines was born on the Jan. 11, 1936, in New Salem, Morton County, N.D., to Adeline (Miller) Quackenbush.
He is survived by wife, Jean; children, Connie Taylor, Shelly Haines and Richard Haines; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers
Arrangements are with the Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel of Winthrop.
