SEARLES - Behind the strong pitching of Kevin Hulke and a lively offensive effort, the Searles Bullheads defeated St. Louis Park 12-2 Friday night in 35-and-over amateur baseball action.
Hulke pitched a complete game for the Bullheads, with the game finishing after six innings due to the 10-run rule. He struck out seven batters.
Searles' offense was led by Tom Steinbach, who was 3-for-3 in the game with a double and four RBI. Craig Schmitz, Corey Schaefer and John Giefer each added two hits.
The Bullheads will play on the road at 2 p.m. today against the Prior Lake Pacers.
