Paul Gerhardt Marxhausen, 88, of Milaca and formerly of Courtland, died on Friday, July 27, 2012, at the Milaca Elim Home.
Services were held Monday at Paul's Lutheran Church in Milaca.
Burial will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Wednesday, Aug. 1.
Paul Gerhardt Marxhausen was born April 6, 1924, to Rev. Ernst John August and Aurelia Marxhausen in Vergas.
He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
He is survived by his wife Alice; children, Gary of Sebewaing, Mich., Sharon Buckentin of Mayer, Alan of Milaca, and Mark of Rosemount; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Omi Budahn of Courtland, Ruth Kiecker of New Ulm, and Marie Ludwig of Lincoln, Neb.; and brother, Ben Marxhausen of Lincoln, Neb.
Arrangements are by Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home of Milaca.
