WINTHROP - Nate Schoenherr had a solid start on the mound and starred at the plate to help New Ulm Kaiserhoff defeat Winthrop 7-3 in a Wednesday night amateur baseball game.
As well as picking up the win, Schoenherr recorded three hits.
Erik Curry led Kaiserhoff's offense with four hits and Michael Schlottman added two hits.
Kaiserhoff will host Gaylord at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
