He went five innings and allowed one run. Adam Reiter tossed the final three innings and was charged with two runs.

Michael Schlottman took the loss for Kaiserhoff. He went five innings and allowed seven runs.

Seth Allen led Mankato with four hits with Adam Geiger and Jimmy Kiefer each adding a three hit night.

Matt Bergman had two of Kaiserhoff's six hits.

Mankato took a 3-0 lead in the second inning on an RBI double from Jimmy Kiefer, a run-scoring single off of the bat of Adam Reiter and an error.

The Mets scored a solo run in the fourth on singles from Allen and Kiefer, a balk by Schlottman and a Sam Stier infield single.

An error, a base hit from Bergmann and an RBI single from Keith Besemer in the bottom of the inning gave New Ulm its first run of the game.

But the Mets pushed across five runs in the top of the fifth to salt the game away.

Jake Kreer reached on an error and Josh Anderson doubled. Dan Larson was hit by a Schlottman offering to load the bases before an infield single scored Kreer and ended Schlottman's night.

Jordan Schneider relieved Schlottman and tossed a run-scoring wild pitch for a 6-1 lead. An error and two singles upped the lead to 9-1.

Kaiserhoff did manage a mini-rally in the bottom of the sixth.

Jonathan Curry and Dalton Deinhart each drew walks off of Reiter.

A Bergmann single loaded the bases before a walk to Dan Reinke and a fielder's choice closed out Kaiserhoff's scoring.

The Mets continued to score runs, adding three in the seventh before pushing in six runs in the eighth on just three hits.

Two errors, two walks and two hit batsman aided in the scoring.

Kaiserhoff had five errors in the game.
