NEW ULM - Carl Grams, 93, of New Ulm died Thursday, July 5, 2012 at the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM Monday, July 9, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with Monsignor John A. Richter celebrating the Mass. Burial will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of Mass at the Cathedral on Monday.

The Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm is handling the arrangements.

Carl is survived by his wife of 69 years, Marie Grams of New Ulm; daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and David Kruse of Columbia Heights, Janet and Larry Roalson of Madelia, Joyce Grams of Hutchinson; sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Patricia Grams of Wind Lake, Wisconsin, John and Jeanne Grams of Coon Rapids; eleven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Audrey Grams.

Carl Francis Grams was born March 1, 1919 in St. Clair to William and Julia (Hoenes) Grams. He was united in marriage to Marie Cuddy on April 29, 1943 at St. John's Catholic Church in Mankato. After marriage they were life long farmers, farming first in Blue Earth County then moving to rural Hanska in 1965. They retired and moved to New Ulm in 1994. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm.

The Grams family prefers memorials to the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity or New Ulm Area Catholic Schools.
