GAYLORD - William "Bill" Hardel, 89, of Gaylord, died Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the Oak Terrace Health Care Center in Gaylord.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, July 6, at St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Arlington.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the church, and also one hour prior to the service time on Friday at church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was born on Aug. 9, 1922, to William and Laura (Ayer) Hardel in Kelso Township, Sibley County. He is survived by his children, Judy Hartmann of Shelby Twp., MI, Marla Honebrink of Lincoln, NE, Glen Hardel of Le Sueur, Brenna Thompson of Courtland, Avis Jacobus of Le Sueur, Lonnie Rabe of Arlington, Gaylan Hardel of Le Sueur, and Warren Hardel of Le Sueur; 24 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Laura Renneke, Ruth Sander and Ethel Mathwig.
