SLEEPY EYE - Antique enthusiasts should be interested to know the new Grizzly Canyon General Store, which recently opened in the Masonic Temple building on Second Avenue Northwest downtown, offers a variety of items for sale or trade.

Several rooms of merchandise include military-issue gear; an antique Sleepy Eye High School letter jacket, hat and pennant; various cookie jars; teapots and other kitchenware; as well as more collectables including a President Eisenhower stamp book and wildlife prints by artist Martin Glen Loates.

Store owner Montana Mielke encourages customers to come in the store, get on the mail and/or e-mail list and get an extra 10 percent discount.
