FAIRMONT - Fairmont defeated New Ulm Gold 13-5 in Legion baseball action Monday.
Judd Davis took the loss for Gold. Zach Hoffmann was 4-for-4 with three doubles and two RBIs and Jason Schaul was 2-for-4 with a two-run home run.
Also for Gold, Kevin Larson was 2-for-4 with a triple and Dan Blackstad was 2-for-4.
New Ulm (4-4) hosts Mankato at 8 p.m. tonight at Mueller Park.
