TRUMAN - Muriel Helen (Rettmann) Barfknecht, 77, of Truman, formerly of Gibbon, died Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Lakeview Methodist Health Care in Fairmont.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m., Thursday, June 28, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Truman. Private family interment will be held at Ridgelawn Memorial Park rural Truman.
Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the church in Truman.

Muriel Helen (Rettmann) Barfknecht was born on Nov. 22, 1934, to Walter and Helen (Stark) Rettmann.
Muriel is survived by, her husband, Donald of Truman; children, Connie Hiller-Byro of Madelia, Michael Barfknecht of Truman, Kari Diekmann of Fairmont, and Cathi Barfknecht of Eau Claire, Wis., six grandchildren; a great-grandson; three stepgrandchildren; sisters, Janice Hazen of New London and Donna Bastian of Brooklyn Center.
