HANSKA Robert "Stump" Miller, 56, of rural Hanska, died Saturday, June 23, 2012, at the New Ulm Medical Center.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 28 at Zion Lutheran Church in Hanska with Rev. Aaron Suomala Folkerds officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Schmucker Funeral Service in Hanska and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Robert Orlin Miller, the son of Norman and Helen (Hjelmeland) Miller, was born April 5, 1956 in New Ulm. He attended school in Madelia, graduating from Madelia High School in 1974. Bob farmed and worked as a plumber several years before disability forced his retirement. Bob was active in high school sports, and with his father learned to enjoy and respect the outdoors and watching wildlife. He loved to fish and hunt, and especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Hanska.
Survivors include his daughters, Dianna (Michael) Haedt of Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, Rachel (Paul) Rehm of St. James, Katie Miller of New Ulm; grandchildren, Makayla, Miah, Jackson, William, Gabriel, Naomi and Breau; parents, Norman and Helen Miller of Hanska; brother, Bill (Becky) Miller of Madelia; sisters, Kris (Sandy) Nelson of Detroit Lakes, Sheri (Dave) Severson of Rochester, Ann (Paul) Sundermann of Baltic, S.D.; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
