NEW ULM - Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie will discuss the proposed Voter ID Amendment at the Tuesday, June 26 Brown County board meeting.
Ritchie is expected to talk on the amendment to be voted on in the Nov. 6, 2012 General Election at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Commissioners will also consider:
Adding a social worker position specializing in child and adult autism to the 2013 Family Services budget. The agency has received 13 new autism spectrum children and adult referrals over the past three years.
Adding an additional $45,000, .75 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) staff position to the county attorney's office to cover increasing and expanding workload and responsibilities.
Adding a new Planning and Zoning office field technician position to the 2013 draft budget. The office has been short of staff since December 2003 when the agriculture inspector/wetlands coordinator position was not replaced, according to the Request for Board Action (RBA).
The meeting starts at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the commissioner's room.
