Language proved no barrier as retired long-term Bulgarian pre-school teacher and administrator Ivanka Petrova (back left) delivered a short program at the MLC Early Childhood Center Wednesday morning. She taught the children songs, dances, gestures and simple phrases, including how to count to five in Bulgarian through a song (activity pictured). She also discussed pre-schools in Europe with the teachers at the Early Childhood Center through a translator. Petrova's grandson, Samuel Chalakov, (third from back left) just "graduated" from the center.
