Girls
Carly Schmalz
BLHS, Junior
Schmalz finished 13th at the Class A state meet this year for the Mustangs. She averaged a 44 over nine holes and her season-best 18-hole score was 84 at the sub-section meet in Marshall. She took first in the Tomahawk Conference this year and was voted the conference MVP by the coaches. She's a two-time state qualifier and will be one of the top golfers in the conference again next year.
Emily Curtis
Sleepy Eye, Junior
Curtis has been the leader of the back-to-back Sub-Section 2A Champion Indians for the past few seasons. This year, she collected her third-straight All Conference selection. Curtis qualified for state in 2010 and led the Indians to a third-place finish at the Class A state meet this past year. She finished tied for 25th with a two-day total of 183 at Pebble Creek and she averaged a 93 for the season.
Corinne McKeeth
New Ulm, Freshman
McKeeth was a team captain for the Eagles this past year and averaged a 48.5 over nine holes this year. Her season-best score was 87 and she was medalist at two meets this year. She is a three-time letter-winner and two-time All-South Central Conference Team member. She qualified for the section meet this year for the second time in her career and she missed the Class AA state meet by one stroke.
Lauren Laffen
Sleepy Eye, 8th grade
Laffen was a huge part of the Indians' third-place finish at the Class A state meet this year. Laffen received her first All-Tomahawk Conference team selection in 2012 and should have a chance to become a very special player of the next few seasons. She averaged a 94 in 2012.
Kenzie Schutz
St. Mary's, Junior
Schutz has played varsity the past five seasons for the Knights and her score counted for all 14 meets for her team this year. She had a nine-hole average of 47.6 and had a low round of 44. She was the medalist at three meets and was All-Conference in the Tomahawk for the second time. She's a two-time Section 2A meet qualifier.
Brooke Dummer
Cathedral, Freshman
Dummer averaged a 50 this year for the Greyhounds. She was medalist in three meets. Her score counted in all 17 meets this year. She tied for medalist in the second round of the Conference Tournament and her lowest score this season was a 91 on 18 holes and 45 on 9 holes. At sub-sections she led the Greyhounds with a 95 to help advance the team to sections. She finished sections with a 97, three strokes behind the fifth-place qualifier. She finished seventh in conference play this year and was a state tournament qualifier last year.

Jordan Henry
Madelia, Freshman
Henry finished 11th at the Class A state meet with a two-day total of 158. He was fifth at the Section 2A meet with an 81 after winning a playoff to get to state, and he was third at the Valley Conference meet with a score of 85.
Mikail Sellner
St. Mary's, Senior
Sellner averaged a 40 for nine holes and competed at the Class A state meet, where he finished 33rd overall with a two-day score of 166. He had a season low of 37 and finished third overall in the All-Conference standings for the Tomahawk Conference.
Jonah Cooper
New Ulm, Freshman
Cooper had a season average of 42.8 with a season low of 78. He finished fifth at the conference meet and second at sub-sections. His 79 at sections was good enough for fourth place overall and qualified him for the state meet. He finished 54th at state with scores of 78 and 84 for a total of 162.
C.J. Windschitl
St. Mary's, Senior
Windschitl averaged 41.6 over nine holes this year and had a low of 36. He finished fourth in the Tomahawk Conference standings and qualified for four section meets in his career.
Kelton Schmitz
New Ulm, Sophomore
Schmitz went to state as a freshman and averaged 41 on nine holes this year for the Eagles. He was medalist in three meets and his low round was 76. He finished fourth overall in the South Central Conference standings.
Tyler Netzke
Sleepy Eye, Junior
Netzke was the leader of a successful 2012 campaign for the Indians' boys' golf team. He collected his second-straight All-Conference Team selection and was a huge part of the Indians' successful state tournament appearances in 2010 and 2011. He averaged 82 over 18 holes in 2012 and spent a majority of the 2012 season ranked in the top 10 for the State Class A Golf Rankings according to the Minnesota State Golf Coaches Association website.
