Minnesota Wild Road Tour to stop in New Ulm on June 27

NEW ULM - New Ulm will be one of 18 cities visited by the 2012 Wells Fargo Minnesota Wild Road Tour when it begins next week.

The New Ulm event will take place on Wednesday, June 27 from 4-5 p.m. at the New Ulm Civic Center.

New Ulm is on the first leg of the tour, with the Wild's Charlie Coyle, Matt Kassian, Antti Laaksonen and Mike Greenlay slated to appear.

The New Ulm tour stop will include a fundraising opportunity for the local youth hockey association, as well as autographs from the Wild members in attendance.

The tour be carried out in three legs, with each leg visiting two locations a day from June 25-27. The tour will then culminate with the seventh annual Wild Summer Bash on Thursday, June 28 at the Guidant Rose MN OVAL in Roseville from 6-9 p.m.

At the Summer Bash, fans will have a chance to play hockey-themed games and can take part in autograph sessions and photo opportunities with Wild players. Other activities include open skating, live music and zamboni rides.
