LITCHFIELD - The New Ulm Blue Legion baseball team suffered its first lost of the season on Tuesday night, falling to Litchfield by a 6-0 score.
Nick Dewanz took the loss for New Ulm, allowing five runs in his three innings pitched and striking out one. Andy DeRock (three innings pitched, one run, five strikeouts) came on in relief of Dewanz.
Javen Munce had the only hit for New Ulm (2-1), who will play on the road at Fairmont on Thursday.
