NEW ULM - The New Ulm HotShots 16 and under softball team split a doubleheader with Jackson on Tuesday, losing the first game 10-4 and winning the second game 7-1.
Kristin Mohr picked up the loss for the HotShots in Game 1 and Hannah Backer earned the win in Game 2.
Brianna Sieve went 2-for-3 with an RBI and Mohr went 2-for-3 with three RBI.
The HotShots (6-4) will host the Diamonds on Thursday.
