NICOLLET - John E. Wear, 92, of rural Nicollet, died Monday, June 18, 2012, at the Oak Terrace Health Care Center in Gaylord.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11a.m., Friday, June 22, at St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church in Lafayette. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in rural Nicollet with full military honors by the New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor.
Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm and will continue one hour before Mass at church on Friday. There will be a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
