COURTLAND - A 19-year-old Albany man died in a single-vehicle, rollover accident at 10:28 p.m. Monday on U.S. Highway 14 near the County Road 25 intersection.
Brent H. Lehnen was a passenger in a 1999 Ford Super Duty truck eastbound on Highway 14 when it veered into the south shoulder, skidded across County Road 25 into a farm field and rolled.
Lehnen and Derek L. Stavish, 21, Little Falls, were not wearing seat belts and were ejected from the vehicle. Stavish had non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to New Ulm Medical Center.
The truck was demolished. Allina Ambulance, the Courtland Fire Department and Nicollet County Sheriff's Office assisted at the crash scene. The State Patrol is investigating the crash.
