Fatal accident on Highway 14

One man was killed and another injured in a one-vehicle rollover accident on Highway 14 at Nicollet County Road 25 near New Ulm on Monday night.

According to the State Patrol, the vehicle, a 1999 Ford Superduty, was eastbound on 14 when it veered onto the shoulder on the south side of the road, skidded across County Road 25, entered a field and rolled. The two occupants were ejected. Brent H. Lehnen, 19, from Albany, was dead at the scene. The other man, Derek L. Stavish, 21, of Little Falls, was transported to New Ulm Medical Center Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the accident.
