CLEVELAND - The New Ulm 18U softball team picked up two wins Tuesday night in 18U action.
New Ulm swept Cleveland 9-1 and 12-2. In the first game, Brittany Hoffmann was 2-for-2 with a home run and Carlie Maasz earned the win. She allowed one run and four hits while striking out six and walking one.
In the second game, Hallie Kuelbs picked up the win. Charlotte Pfingsten was 2-for-2 and Paige Pautzke was 2-for-4. Kali Denn also hit a home run.
New Ulm (2-0) is at Montgomery tonight.
