To the editor:
June 8th will mark the 45th anniversary of Israel's assault on the USS Liberty. This event, and the ensuing cover-up, are treated not only in James M. Ennes Jr.'s Assault on the Liberty (1979), but also in the much more recent book (2009), Attack on the Liberty by James Scott, son of one of the survivors of the attack.
