ARLINGTON - LeRoy Dale Winter, 67, of Arlington, died Wednesday, May 24, 2012, at the Sibley Medical Center in Arlington.
Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Arlington.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington, and one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Arlington.
LeRoy was born on May 22, 1945, in Glencoe, to Louis and Flora (Laabs) Winter. In 1966 LeRoy joined the U.S. Army, serving as a repairman during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged in 1968.
LeRoy is survived by his wife, Lois, sons, David and Michael Winter, all of Arlington, and sister Shirley Schauer of Green Isle.
