LE SUEUR - The New Ulm boys are in fifth place with a 351 after the first day of the Mankato East Invite on Friday.
The Eagles are led by Josh Cooper's 85 and Colin Huffman's 86. Kelton Schmitz (89) and Jonah Cooper (91) also figured into New Ulm's scoring.
Chanhassen leads the two-day event with a 323. The event continues today at the Le Sueur Country Club.

SANBORN - Sleepy Eye's Emily Curtis and Lauren Laffen shared medalist honors with a 45 as the Sleepy Eye girls won a Tomahawk Conference meet Friday.
Kenzie Schutz led St. Mary's with a 47 and Briana Jenniges led Wabasso with a 52.
St. Mary's was led by Mikail Sellner and Jon Milliard on the boys side with a 41 and Tristan Pietig led Cedar Mountain with a 44. Shawn Zollner shot a 60 for Wabasso and Alex Hillesheim led Sleepy Eye with a 54.
