To the editor:
New Ulm Medical Center is celebrating national nurses week. In honor of the dedication, commitment, and tireless efforts of nurses to promote and maintain the health of this community, I am proud to recognize registered nurses and LPN's everywhere on this particular day for the quality work they provide seven days a week, 365 days a year.
The purpose of the week long celebration is to raise awareness of the value of nursing and help educate the public about the role nurses play in meeting the health care needs of the American people.
NUMC nurses along with the nurses at Brown County Public Health are gathering food for the food shelf to give back and honor our local community.
