NEW ULM - A new tobacco shop with a wide range of products opened last Tuesday at 1704 Westridge Road, next door to Snap Fitness and located east of Wal-Mart Supercenter.
Business owner Sam Hichan opened the franchise business in New Ulm after opening a store in Mankato.
The New Ulm store sells electronic or e-cigarettes. It also offers one-pound bags of tobacco, and cigarettes by the carton.

Smokes 4 Less owner Sam Hichan holds an electronic “E” cigarette that is among the many items sold at the new Smokes 4 Less store, 1704 Westridge Road, next door to Snap Fitness and near Wal-Mart.
Its selection of cigars come from the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Some are stored in a controlled environment. There are also cigarillos, pipe and hookah tobacco in many flavors; water pipes, pipes, pipe cleaners, lighters, sunglasses, sodas, bottled water and organic juice drinks.
Reusable, rechargeable, refillable, electronic cigarettes are electrical devices that simulate tobacco smoking by producing an inhaled vapor similar to inhaled tobacco smoke with or without nicotine and without tobacco odor. E-cigarettes may reduce some of the apparent health risks of tobacco smoking.
The devices use heat or ultrasonics to vaporize a propylene or glycerine-based liquid into an aerosol mist, like the way a nebulizer or humidifier vaporizes solutions for inhalation.
Store hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Thursday and Saturday; 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
