M&R Paving and Excavating recently held a ground-breaking ceremony on its new office site behind J&R Schugel Trucking Inc. off the 2000 block of North Broadway in New Ulm.
The new building will feature an 11,000 square-foot shop and parts area with wash bay; an 8,000-square foot, two-story office area with conference/training, lockers, and reception rooms. The facility will have 16 offices and include an equipment yard.
Contractors are Salonek Construction of Springfield; Klassen Plumbing of New Ulm, Full Service Electric of New Ulm. Principal project and interior design are by Brunton Architects of North Mankato. Estimated building completion date is Sept. 30.
