AN ORDINANCE

FOR ANNEXATION

OF PROPERTY TO

THE CITY OF NEW

ULM PURSUANT TO

MINNESOTA STA-

TUTES SECTION

414.033.

RECITALS

WHEREAS, the City

of New Ulm is the

owner in fee simple of

certain properties lo-

cated in Section 23,

Township 110 North,

Range 31 West (Mil-

ford Township), all in

Brown County, Min-

nesota, legally

described on the at-

tached Exhibit A; and

WHEREAS, the City

Council of the City of

New Ulm has deemed

the described property

to be urban or subur-

ban in character or

about to become so;

and

WHEREAS, it is in the

best interests of the

City of New Ulm and

its residents that the

described property be

annexed to and incor-

porated into the city

limits of the City of

New Ulm pursuant to

Minn. Statutes, Sec-

tion 414.033;

WHEREAS, pursuant

to Minn. Statutes,

Section 414.033,

Subd. 2(1), no public

hearing on the pro-

posed annexation is

required.

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY

THE CITY COUNCIL

OF THE CITY OF

NEW ULM:

SECTION I. That the

following described

property is hereby de-

clared to be annexed

to and incorporated

into the City of New

Ulm with the same

force and effect as if

such property had ori-

ginally been part of the

City of New Ulm:

See attached Exhibit A

SECTION II. That the

City Engineer is here-

by directed to make

the changes to the of-

ficial map of the City

of New Ulm evidenc-

ing the annexation and

zoning of the property

described herein in and

to the City of New

Ulm.

SECTION III. That a

copy of this ordinance

shall be filed with Min-

nesota Planning, the

Brown County Auditor,

the Brown County

Recorder, the Milford

Township Board, and

the Secretary of State

of the State of Min-

nesota.

SECTION IV. That

this ordinance shall

take effect and be in

force thirty days after

passage, approval and

publication of this ordi-

nance and upon appro-

val of said annexation

by the State of Min-

nesota and filing of

such approval as re-

quired by law.
