For all the attention Christmas receives, there is no more significant holiday in the Christian church year than Easter. It is the central fact upon which Christianity rests, that Jesus Christ, the son of?God, came to earth in human form, sacrificed himself to earn forgiveness for our sins, and was resurrected, vanquishing death and earning eternal life for us all.
It is a holiday of hope, one that celebrates the fact that our flaws and failures can be forgiven, thanks to this incredible act of love.
