ST. PETER - Chase Meyer pitched the New Ulm Eagles to victory on Tuesday in South Central Conference baseball action.
Meyer threw 3 2/3 innings while allowing two runs on just one hit and striking out four. He also went 1-for-2 with an RBI.
Tim Kehren picked up the save and went 1-for-2 at the plate with an RBI. Connor Stark had a hit and an RBI while Grant Kannegiesser went 1-for-3 and drove in two runs.
New Ulm (1-0) will play Marshall next Tuesday at the Metrodome.
