Answers about Photo ID

March 14, 2012
The Journal

To the editor:

In response to questions in Charles Zea's letter on Photo ID:

The constitutional amendment for Photo ID includes language flexible enough to include voting by absentee and mail balloting. The courts have upheld such provisions with photo ID implementation.

If your driver's license or MN ID card do not have your current address, of course current state law includes other ways to prove residence that would apply.

The only ones pushing anything contrary are also opponents of Photo ID. As my mother would say...... consider the source.
