NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR LIVESTOCK FEEDLOT PERMIT

Notice is hereby given per Minnesota Statutes Chapter 116 that Kenneth and Matt Dummer, have made application to Nicollet County for a permit to expand an existing feedlot with a capacity of 500 animal units or more. The original permit was issued 5-6-2005. The new proposed completion date is June 15th, 2012.

The existing feedlot and proposed expansion is located in part of the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 19-111-31, West Newton Township, Nicollet County, Minnesota. The existing facility consists of 1000 swine between 55 and 300 pounds (300 animal units); a 51' x 168' total confinement barn with a 51' x 168' x 8' under floor concrete pit. The proposed expansion consists of an additional 1000 swine between 55 and 300 pounds (300 animal units); a 51' x 168' total confinement barn with a 51' x 168' x 8' under floor concrete pit. The total animal unit capacity will be 600 animal units.

This publication shall constitute as notice to each resident and each owner of real property within 5,000 feet of the perimeter of the proposed feedlot as required by Minnesota State Law.
