NEW?ULM - NUCAT (New Ulm Community Access Television) and NUACT (New Ulm Actors Community Theatre) are producing a monthly video magazine to be broadcast on the local cable access channel. To participate those involved must take one mandatory production class on Monday, March 12, in the basement of the New Ulm library. There is no charge for the class. No previous experience is necessary. Perons with on-air talent are sought to serve as hosts, but they are required to take the class.
The one-hour show will discuss the local arts calendar. Information will be provided by all local arts groups including NUACT, the library, Chamber of Commerce, schools, Grand Kabaret, Brown County Museum, Martin Luther College, and regional theater groups. Guests will be interviewed. Audition will be discussed, and scenes from local plays and productions will be shown. The show will feature paintings and gallery items, and maybe a singer, dancer or acting troupe in the studio. All of these productions will be done in the studio in the basement of the Library. Initially, the on-line producer will be Paul Warshauer.
Class size is limited to 10. If you are interested, please call station manager Daniel Anderson to sign up for the class. His phone is (507) 359.8290
