To the editor:
Saturday night my wife Patty and I went out to hear Johnny Holm and his band at the Hope and Healing Event Center in New Ulm. It was an amazing night, full of fun for all ages. There was a large crowd there, and everybody enjoyed the show.
I've know Johnny since the sixties, when he would come to see my band, the Unbelievable Uglies, when we played in Brained. His love for people and entertaining them to the fullest was apparent back then, and is still apparent in every show he does today. He always surrounds himself with the finest musicians and his daughter Jordan has been a wonderful addition to his show the past five years.
Johnny has been doing this non-stop for over 40 years and it just keeps getting better. It was a great night. Thanks, Johnny!
