To the editor:
Next November Minnesotans will vote on a constitutional amendment to decide if marriage is to be defined as between only one man and one woman.
If you feel so, as I do, that traditional marriage is an institution important to society and deserving of protection in our state constitution, I hope you will join me at a grassroots organizing meeting for Minnesota for Marriage: One man, One woman.
On Monday, Nov. 14, we will be gathering at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church at 201 N State St. in New Ulm. We will be discussing ways to get involved with the local campaign to promote the passage of the marriage protection amendment. More information can be found at: www.minnesotaformarriage.com.
